Metal Slug 7
Metal Slug 7 is a run and gun video game developed by SNK Playmore for the Nintendo DS. It is the seventh and final title in the main Metal Slug series. It marks the first game in the main series that would be released without an arcade version. The game was released in 2008 for Japan on July 22 and North America on November 28 by Ignition Entertainment.
The Lion King
The Lion King is a 1994 platform game based on Disney's 1994 animated film of the same name. It was originally developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment for the Super NES and Sega Genesis, and was ported to MS-DOS, Amiga, Game Gear, Master System, and Nintendo Entertainment System; the Amiga, Master System, and NES versions were only released in the PAL region. The game follows Simba's journey from a young cub to the battle with his uncle Scar as an adult.
Aleste
Aleste (アレスタ) is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by Compile, originally published by Sega in 1988 for the Master System and then by CP Communications "Compile (company)") for the MSX2. The Master System version was released outside Japan as Power Strike. The game spawned the Aleste and Power Strike franchises. The story of Aleste concerns the manmade supercomputer DIA 51, which has been infected by a hybrid virus that is spreading like wildfire, eventually leading DIA 51 to eliminate the human race. When Yuri, Ray's girlfriend, gets injured in DIA's assault, Raymond Waizen has all the reason in the world to get rid of DIA 51 once and for all in his Aleste fighter. The game was originally released for the Master System in February 1988. This version was released outside Japan, as Power Strike. The US release was initially a mail-only limited edition, however it did later see some retail distribution at Toys R' Us and other chains in North America.
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon#cite_note-2) is a side-scrollingbeat 'em uparcadevideo game developed by Gazelle and released on March 22, 1995. It was published by Banpresto.#cite_note-CDC2-3)#cite_note-GTech9-4) It is the first game to be created by Gazelle, one of the offshoots of defunct developer Toaplan that were founded after they declared bankruptcy in 1994, and one of the few titles based upon Naoko Takeuchi's _Sailor Moon_shōjo manga and anime "Sailor Moon (TV series)") series that had an official international release, and it also has been compared with other titles in the same genre such as Capcom's Final Fight "Final Fight (video game)") and Technōs Japan's Double Dragon "Double Dragon (video game)").
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures, known in Japan as Hello! Pac-Man (ハロー! パックマン, Harō! Pakkuman), is a 1994 side-scrolling adventure game in the Pac-Man series developed and published by Namco. Instead of being a maze game like the majority of its predecessors, Pac-Man 2 incorporates light point-and-click adventure game elements. The game borrows its structure and certain elements from Pac-Land, and also appears to contain certain elements from the animated series, such as Pac-Man's family and a main villain commanding the ghosts. The game was released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and was released for the Sega Genesis exclusively in the US.
Haunting Starring Polterguy
Haunting Starring Polterguy is a comedy-horror video game released for the Mega Drive/Genesis by Electronic Arts in 1993. Taking control of a ghost named 'Polterguy', the player must bring various household items to life in order to frighten a family away from their home. A port for the PlayStation Portable was released in 2006 on EA Replay.
Light Crusader
Light Crusader is a 1995 action-adventure game developed by Treasure and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. The game's plot follows a knight named Sir David as he attempts to rescue the kidnapped people of Greenrow. Played from an isometric perspective, the game sees the player, assuming the role of David, descending through a large dungeon by fighting enemies, solving puzzles, and traversing the environment in order to find the missing townsfolk. The final title developed by Treasure for the Genesis, the game was first announced in the spring of 1994 under the working title of Relayer. During development, the dev team sought to improve the operability and enjoyment of previous pseudo-3D titles by implementing an isometric viewpoint. However, due to programming difficulties stemming from the perspective, the game was delayed for over a year in order for the development team to fix the issues.
Mega Man ZX
Mega Man ZX is a 2006 action-platform game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Nintendo DS. It was released on July 6, 2006 in Japan, September 12, 2006 in North America, June 20, 2007 in Australia, and June 22, 2007 in Europe. Part of the Mega Man franchise, ZX is set two hundred years after the events of the Mega Man Zero series, and revolves around the efforts of the protagonist to recover powerful ancient artifacts called "Biometals" from the Pseudoroids, evil robots made to harness their power. The game introduces a new open-ended gameplay environment and the ability to select the protagonist's gender, a first in the series. The game received positive reviews from critics, who praised its gameplay and level design, but were divided about its high difficulty level. A sequel, Mega Man ZX Advent, was released the following year, in 2007.
David Robinson's Supreme Court
David Robinson Supreme Court (known in Japan as David Robinson Basketball (デビッド・ロビンソン バスケットボール)) is a basketball video game released by Sega exclusively for the Sega Genesis in 1992. The game was endorsed by NBA player David Robinson but does not feature an NBA license and instead features four different fictional American teams. Robinson would later be featured in Sega's NBA Action games.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a visual noveladventure game developed and published by Capcom. It was released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance in Japan and has been ported to multiple platforms. The 2005 Nintendo DS version, titled Gyakuten Saiban Yomigaeru Gyakuten in Japan, introduced an English language option, and was the first time the game was released in North America and Europe. It is the first entry in the Ace Attorney series; several sequels and spin-offs were produced, while this game has seen further ports and remasters for computers, game consoles, and mobile devices. The story follows Phoenix Wright, a rookiedefense attorney who attempts to have his clients declared "not guilty". Among other characters are Phoenix's boss, Mia Fey; his assistant and Mia's sister, Maya; and prosecutorMiles Edgeworth. The player controls Phoenix through two sets of sections: investigations and courtroom trials. During investigations they gather information and evidence.
Ghost House
Ghost House (Japanese: ゴーストハウス, Hepburn: Gōsuto Hausu) is a side-scrollingplatform game developed and published by Sega, released for the Master System in 1986.#cite_note-ignhistory-4)Ghost House is loosely based on Sega's 1982 arcade video game, Monster Bash. The game was originally released in the Sega Card format, then re-released on cartridge. The player controls Mick/Mickey, a young vampire hunter out to destroy five vampires (or "Draculas" as the instruction book calls them) in each stage before proceeding to the next. In later levels Draculas may re-spawn. Everything is out to stop Mick/Mickey from completing this task and making his way out of the mansion. The player has to punch or jump on enemies to defeat them. Arrows fly from either direction after Mick/Mickey passes a fireplace and will attempt to hit him, and he must either duck or jump on them for extra points and eventually gain invincibility as per the amount jumped on (25).

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Justice for All is a visual novel adventure video game developed and published by Capcom. It was originally released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002 in Japan, and has since been released on multiple platforms. The Nintendo DS version, initially released in 2006 in Japan, was released in English in the West in 2007. The game is the second entry in the Ace Attorney series, following Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. The story follows Phoenix Wright, a defense attorney who defends his clients in four episodes. Among other characters are his investigative partner and spirit medium Maya Fey, her cousin Pearl, and the rival prosecutor Franziska von Karma. The game is divided into two types of sections: courtroom sessions, where the player cross-examines witnesses and tries to uncover contradictions in their testimonies; and investigations, where the player gathers evidence and talks to witnesses.
Chuck Rock
Chuck Rock is a 1991 platform video game developed and published by Core Design for the Atari ST and Amiga computers. A Commodore 64 port followed in 1992 and an Amiga CD32 version in 1994. The game was subsequently published by Krisalis Software for the Acorn Archimedes. Virgin Interactive published the game for the Mega Drive/Genesis, Master System, and the Game Gear. Sony Imagesoft published the game for the Mega-CD, Super NES, and Game Boy. The character of Chuck Rock was an early mascot for Core Design before the introduction of Lara Croft in the 1996 game Tomb Raider, and Chuck Rock and his family even featured in some UK comic books of the 1990s. Chuck Rock was followed by the sequel Chuck Rock II: Son of Chuck in 1993 and the spin-off BC Racers in 1994.

California Games
California Games is a 1987 sports video game developed and published by Epyx for the Apple II and Commodore 64. Branching from their Summer Games "Summer Games (video game)") and Winter Games series, it is a collection of outdoor sports purportedly popular in California. The game was successful and was soon ported to other home computers and video game consoles, and was the pack-in game for the Atari Lynx when that system launched in September 1989. It was followed by the sequel California Games II in 1990. The events vary slightly per platform, but include half-pipe, footbag, surfing (starring Rippin' Rick),#cite_note-12)roller skating, BMX, and flying disc. Epyx reportedly used more than three man-years to develop California Games, including a surfer who wrote the surfing game.#cite_note-trivette19880628-13) Several members of the development team moved on to other projects.
Bonanza Bros
Bonanza Bros. (sometimes written Bonanza Brothers) is a 3D-style, 2Dside-scrollingstealthaction game developed and released by Sega in 1990. It is one of the earliest arcade games powered by the Sega System 24arcade system board. It was ported to various home systems, including the Mega Drive/Genesis, Master System, PC-Engine/TurboGrafx-CD, and several home computers. Bonanza Bros. received praise for its graphics, soundtrack, and character dialogue. It has been remastered and rereleased several times. Bonanza Bros. is a side-scrollingstealthaction game, with shooter and platform game elements. The players take the roles of one or both of the brothers Robo (1P, red) and Mobo (2P, blue) (Mike and Spike in some PAL versions), who may have been modeled on The Blues Brothers.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is a visual novel adventure video game developed and published by Capcom. It is the fourth title in the Ace Attorney series, and was released for the Nintendo DS handheld game console in Japan in 2007 and in the West in 2008, for iOS and Android in 2016, and for the Nintendo 3DS in 2017. It was also released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows and Xbox One in 2024, as part of the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy compilation. The game takes place seven years after the previous game, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations. Phoenix Wright, the main character of previous titles in the series, has been stripped of his attorney's badge, and Apollo Justice, an up-and-coming attorney, becomes his apprentice, working with Phoenix's adopted daughter Trucy on four cases. The player's goal is to get their clients declared not guilty; to do this, they investigate the cases and cross-examine witnesses.
Battle Out Run
Battle Out Run is a 1989 video game released by Sega on the Master System. Despite being part of the Out Run series, this game plays little like its namesake and more like Chase H.Q., where the objective is to ram the cars of specified criminals. A notable feature is to enhance the car's attributes by buying upgrades that are inside of a truck that passes at certain moments and must be entered from the rear.
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Animal Crossing: Wild World is a 2005 social simulationvideo game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DShandheld game console. It was released in Japan in November 2005, in North America and Australia in December 2005, and in Europe in March 2006. It is the second installment in the Animal Crossing series, and the sequel to Animal Crossing "Animal Crossing (video game)") on the GameCube. Wild World focuses on living in a remote village populated with anthropomorphic animals, where the player character is encouraged to perform a number of tasks, such as collecting and planting. Like all Animal Crossing titles, the game is synced to the console's clock and calendar, allowing the game to be played in real-time "Real-time (media)"), which affects the occurrence of in-game events based on the current time of day or season.
Sonic Classic Collection
Sonic Classic Collection is a 2010 video game compilation developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega for the Nintendo DS. It contains the four main _Sonic the Hedgehog_platform games originally released for the Sega Genesis: Sonic the Hedgehog "Sonic the Hedgehog (1991 video game)") (1991), Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992), Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (1994), and Sonic & Knuckles (1994). Upon release, Sonic Classic Collection received mixed reviews. Sonic Classic Collection contains Sonic the Hedgehog "Sonic the Hedgehog (1991 video game)"), Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. The Lock-on modes from the original Sonic & Knuckles cartridge (Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles) are fully implemented and playable. The ability to save at any point, a feature absent in the original games, is also present. Alongside the main games, a gallery of character artwork from the Sonic series is viewable.
